Justin D. Caplin
Justin specializes in Child Custody and Child Abuse - related cases, focusing on helping children to have loving and supporting homes with parents that can co-parent together despite being divorced or separated.
Justin handles cases that involve co-parenting disputes, child abuse, false allegations of abuse, high conflict custody battles, custody modifications, enforcement of custody or support orders, protective orders, child protective orders, as well as cases involving grandparent rights, termination of parental rights, DCFS, and others.
In addition to traditional representation of clients, Justin also accepts appointments by the Court as Private Guardian ad Litem (representing children) and as Special Master (court-designated decision-maker) in high conflict child custody cases.
Justin has represented clients in more than a thousand court hearings and mediations, defending what is most important to them: their relationship with their children. Justin will always give his honest assessment and advice, not merely tell you what you want to hear.
